Services

When it comes to caring for your pet, preventative measures are equally as important as treatment for illness or injury. At Annapolis Veterinary & Wellness, we have been providing local pet owners with reliable veterinary services for many years. Read on to learn more about what we can do for your pet.

Vaccinations

Annual vaccines are an important part of keeping your pet healthy. Puppies and kittens are highly susceptible to a variety of serious diseases, which is why we recommend vaccinating your pet as early in its life as possible. Core vaccines, which are required for all pets, include vaccines for rabies, distemper, and parvovirus. Non-core vaccines will be recommended based on your pet’s breed and environment.

Annual Wellness Exams

Annual wellness exams allow our veterinarian to diagnose and address health issues before they are allowed to progress. During a routine exam, our veterinarian will ask about your pet's health history and conduct tests such as x-rays and bloodwork to determine if your pet is suffering from any issues that require medical attention. Dental cleaning or pet surgery will be scheduled at this time if necessary.

Laser Therapy

Many pets benefit from laser therapy after a serious injury or surgical procedure. Laser therapy relieves pain and promotes healing throughout your pet’s body.

Pharmacy

No matter your pet's needs, our in-house veterinary pharmacy can meet your pet's needs. We carry heartworm medication, flea prevention medication, and other essential prescriptions.

Diagnostic & Lab Procedures

Thanks to our in-house diagnostic tools and laboratory, you do not have to wait long for the results of your pet's lab results. Our team also has access to radiology and ultrasound tools, which allow for the fast and accurate diagnosis of many health conditions.

Pet Surgery

When you visit our office, you can see the safe and comfortable environment in which we perform pet surgery. We use the most up-to-date technology and equipment to provide your pet with the best possible surgical care.

Pet Dentistry

Our veterinary services include oral health examinations, x-rays, extractions, and gum disease treatment. Periodontal disease is all too common in pets, but preventative treatments will help your pet avoid dental disease and tooth loss.

Nutrition & Weight Loss Programs

If your pet is overweight or suffers from food allergies, nutritional guidance from our veterinarian will help your pet meet its health milestones. We will evaluate your pet’s condition and tailor our recommendations to its individual needs.
